How do I get a petition for membership?

The Secretary would be glad to provide you with a petition for membership.  If someone is interested should should have one handy.

However, here is a PETITION FOR MEMBERSHIP for you just in case you need one.

What is a petition?

Every member of Free Masonry should know about a petition.  It is filled out by the interested party and submitted to a brother of the lodge with at least two signatures of recommendation.

Once the petition is submitted to lodge and read at a regular meeting  the WM will assign an investigating committee to visit the potential candidate for an interview.  The questions for the interview are specific and are listed in the paperwork given to the chairman of the investigating committee.

The candidate will be listed in the Trestle board for all members to see and have the time to report to the WM any necessary information pertinent to the candidates character.  At the next regular communication the membership will vote whether or not to admit the candidate based on the investigating committee's report.
